Position:
Van Driver/Monitor
Contracted Days:
5 days per week / Up to 4 hours per day (Up to 205 school days)
Schedule:
Two runs (morning and afternoon) using a school‑provided van – Boothbay/Wiscasset/Lincoln Academy
Date Position Available:
2025/2026 School Year
Pay Rate:
$25 per hour
Qualifications:
Appropriate State of Maine Criminal History Record Check and a valid Driver’s License. Experience working with students with special needs is preferred, but not required.
Description:
The AOS98 Rocky Channels School system that serves Boothbay, Boothbay Harbor, Georgetown, Edgecomb and Southport is seeking a dynamic, passionate individual to share van driving and van monitoring responsibilities for students attending a school out‑of‑district. The successful candidate will ensure a safe and positive experience in transporting students. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in helping students access their education. We encourage enthusiastic candidates who are passionate about equity in education to apply.
