Key Responsibilities
Patrol the property grounds, common buildings, and amenities (including clubhouse, pool, and playground) at least twice per night between 8:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m., seven nights a week
Monitor for suspicious activity and immediately report concerns to local law enforcement and the Community Director
Provide extra patrol during holidays like Fourth of July and New Year's Eve, or as directed by management
Identify and report any issues related to lighting or security to the Community Director
Coordinate with local law enforcement agencies to ensure awareness of your role and presence on the property
Submit a weekly written log of all activities and observations to the Community Director
Ensure that no physical intervention (citizen's arrest) is attempted unless absolutely necessary to protect someone from immediate danger
Qualifications
Must be a licensed law enforcement officer in the same city or municipality as the property
Completion of police academy or equivalent law enforcement training
On-site residency required; apartment is provided as part of the role
