Rehabilitation Specialist - Deaf Program
Must be fluent in ASL. Sunday - Thursday 2pm - 10pm.
Base Pay Range $18.00/hr
Job Description Arundel Lodge is a non‑profit organization that works to improve the lives of individuals impacted by behavioral health disorders. This role focuses on supporting deaf clients through the Recovery Model, emphasizing hope, member responsibility, peer support, respect, empathy, non‑stigmatizing language, empowerment, and the use of members’ strengths.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Fluent in ASL.
Preferred: BA/BS/AA or related education.
At least one year of experience in mental health/psychosocial rehabilitation or a similar field.
Driver's license with an acceptable driving record; drug screen required.
Responsibilities
Providing transportation.
Assisting with money management.
Making appointments.
Diet coaching.
Shopping.
Cleaning.
Assistance with ADLs.
Teaching life skills.
Rehabilitation Specialists practice the Recovery Model in all interactions with members.
Shift Availability 2:00pm - 10:00pm
