Under the direction of the Section Manager, Operating Services or designee, the Senior Contract Administrator handles all contract administration work including, but not limited to, requisitions for new services, composition of scopes of work/specifications, sole source justifications, ICE forms, change orders, RFP evaluations, and pre-bid meetings. Essential functions include:
Serving as administrator for Pace's Passenger Facilities Maintenance and Sign and Shelter contracts. Coordinating periodic reviews of contracts and arranges meetings with contractors to ensure compliance with Pace and contract standards. Identifies contractor issues and reports them to management.
Compiling, comparing, tracking, and analyzing Passenger Facilities Maintenance and Sign and Shelter periodic inspection and maintenance reports.
Reviewing and processing contractor invoices for approval and payment.
Assisting in developing annual Section budget, as well as grant application supporting documentation.
Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Business Administration, Accounting, Transportation, or related field.
Experience:
Must have at least 3 years’ previous experience in Contract Administration.
Certifications:
Must have a valid drivers' license with good driving history.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe, and SharePoint to the extent required by specific job functions. Prior experience in oracle preferred.
Must have excellent written, verbal communication skills, and strong and analytic skills.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to sit and work on a computer for extended periods of time, and capable of lifting 10 lbs to waist height.
Working Conditions:
Work is primarily performed in a professional office environment, with the majority of the working hours consisting of computer work. The typical workday is conducted over an 8-hour period and can begin as early as 7:00 am and end no later than 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
This position is not eligible for hybrid schedule or telecommuting.
Full Salary Range: $63,306 – 133,008
Anticipated starting Salary: $63,306 - 98,157
