Key Responsibilities
Maintain high‑quality products in the prepared foods area.
Ensure shelves clean, maintain temperature control, verify expiration dates, and dispose lower‑quality food.
Prepare and serve ready‑to‑eat food.
Maintain sales floor per company policies, handle claims, returns, zone area, organize merchandise, and identify shrink and damages.
Keep the area clean, sanitized, member‑ready.

Be a Team Member: Maintains up‑to‑date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborates with cross‑functional teams and helps educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources; communicates effectively with team members; and remains flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas.
Be an Expert: Prepares food according to item specifications; understands and plans for future productions and mass productions; prepares for seasonality; adheres to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment; and demonstrates an understanding of product and layout execution.
Be a Techie: Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; utilizes handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.
Be an Owner: Drives the performance of the area; utilizes digital tools; manages high exposure and expectations; stocks and rotates merchandise; ensures quality and date control standards; eliminates waste; guides peers and provides attention to customer needs; assists customers according to company policies and procedures.
Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocates for the department and the club by valuing the member's experience in meat area and modeling high quality service and products; executes the basics at the highest possible level of quality; and exhibits energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans, using the Open Door Policy, and applying them in executing business processes and practices.
Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other business partners; identifies priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carries out tasks; communicates progress and information; determines and recommends ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapts to and learns from change, difficulty, and feedback.
Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
Food Service experience.
Food Handler Certification (Food Safety).
