My client is a top notch MEP Consulting Engineering firm in the Philadelphia Delaware Valley. They are actively seeking an Mechanical Engineer with HVAC design in an MEP consulting environment.
Need an energetic mechanical HVAC engineer to integrate with the team and serve their world-class clientele to support building and facilities projects. The role will focus on design related activities including performing calculations, selecting equipment, and supporting the development of construction documents, such as drawings and specifications. The candidate will support fieldwork including existing condition surveys, progress field reports, and project close-out punch lists.
Required
BS Mechanical Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited university program.
2-6 years of related experience in an engineering consulting firm.
Possess the ability to perform designs, calculations, reports, drafting and modeling of mechanical HVAC.
General understanding of applicable codes and standards as it relates to the design of mechanical systems.
Demonstrated knowledge of graphical standards as it relates to producing construction documents.
Proficiency in utilizing Revit and AutoCAD software.
Preferred
Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) certificate, progressing towards Professional Engineering (P.E.) licensure.
Possess the ability to perform designs, calculations, reports, drafting and modeling of plumbing or fire protection.
General understanding of applicable codes and standards as it relates to the design of plumbing or fire protection systems.
Familiarity with various software suites, such as MS Office (Word, Excel), and Bluebeam Revu.
