Electrical Foreman – Wyomissing, PA
The IES Residential, Inc. is one of the nation's largest electrical, plumbing, HVAC, solar, and cable solutions providers. We are looking for an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead daily field operations on multi‑family residential construction sites.
Responsibilities
Supervise, direct, and mentor electricians and apprentices on job sites.
Ensure installations are efficient, accurate, and fully code‑compliant.
Review and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and specifications.
Plan and execute daily tasks including conduit runs, panel installations, device installation, and terminations.
Enforce OSHA, NEC, and company safety policies; conduct regular safety meetings.
Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams for timely delivery of materials, tools, and equipment.
Maintain accurate inventory and oversee proper use and storage of job‑site resources.
Inspect completed and in‑progress work to meet internal standards and project specifications; prepare punch lists as needed.
Maintain daily logs, track labor hours, monitor material usage, and update project management teams.
Communicate issues, needs, and project status updates to the Project Manager or Superintendent.
Identify field challenges early and implement effective solutions to prevent delays or safety concerns.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent; 4+ years of electrical construction experience (preferably residential or multi‑family projects); 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
Licensure:
Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license (as required by local municipality).
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code; ability to read and interpret electrical drawings; strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; proficiency with technology such as tablets and project management tools; bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly; ability to work at heights, on ladders, lifts, rooftops, and in confined spaces; prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, or climbing; ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum Years of Experience: 4–6 years.
License Required: Yes.
