This position reports to the Director of Sales and is accountable for driving engagement with new prospective customers and generating Novi SaaS subscription revenue.

The Account Manager Position This position reports to the Director of Sales and is accountable for driving engagement with new prospective customers and generating Novi SaaS subscription revenue. A successful candidate will be highly motivated and have a track record of successful quota achievement. A self-starter with the skills to prospect, manage sales cycles, and close opportunities. This role requires a very organized individual with strong attention to detail, great communication skills, and the ability to meet objectives. Understanding what drives energy investment decisions will be a key driver of success. It is expected that this position will work primarily in the Novi office in Austin, TX.
Responsibilities
Attain assigned quota targets set by the Company.
Manage the sales process from lead to close with prospective customers.
Prospect new accounts through email, cold calls, and warm lead conversion in a wide range of organization sizes and vertical markets, including – operators, mineral owners, investment banks, hedge funds, midstream, and oilfield services.
Add new logos to the Novi Data customer base.
Renew and upsell existing Novi customers as assigned.
Maintain a sales pipeline, contacts, leads, etc., utilizing salesforce.com.
Work with Novi marketing to build and execute targeted marketing programs.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree, technical or business preferred.
Minimum of 2 years experience selling SaaS software solutions in an “inside” selling or Business Development role.
Proven track record of quota achievement selling SaaS solutions in an inside selling role.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Self-motivated, competitive, and driven to succeed.
Understand Novi’s solutions and align the product to customer goals/problems.
Work onsite in Novi’s Austin, TX offices.
Strong Preference is given to Candidates that have:
Experience selling energy-related SaaS solutions.
Understanding onshore oil & gas fundamentals, including drilling, completions, production, and geology.
Ability to do brief demonstrations of Novi SaaS solutions to prospective clients.
