Event Network, LLC is actively seeking a Help Desk Agent to join our IT Team! This opportunity is based at our Store Support Center in San Diego, CA, with the flexibility to work from home one day a week.

Your Role: Help Desk Agent As a full-time, hourly Help Desk Agent, you will support desktop computers, related equipment, and software both in our stores and at the Store Support Center (SSC). Your mission is to be the primary point of contact on the IT Support Line and IT ticketing software, helping shape the future of retail experiences.
What You’ll Do
Partner with IT/IS staff, contractors, and vendors to ensure efficient computer operations for the SSC and the stores.
Maintain professional currency on technology in use within the corporation and stay aware of industry trends.
Help establish and ensure computer systems remain in service to process corporate and partner revenue streams.
Provide input into the annual budget and help ensure equipment acquisitions and service expenditures conform to the budget.
Answer IT Support Line calls, respond to IT tickets and emails, and serve as an escalation point for outsourced support vendors.
Provide primary support for any computers, software, and related equipment located at the SSC, and secondary support for any located at the stores.
Provide backup support and administration for POS and related software at a store location, as well as backend POS systems at the SSC.
Prepare equipment for shipment to stores by imaging computers, configuring peripherals, and fully testing to ensure all is functional before shipment.
Provide backup support and administration for any phone equipment located at the SSC.
Act as a partner with IT/IS department members, vendors, and partners to provide solutions for both the Store Support Center and the store locations.
Support and assist with special projects and company initiatives as needed.
Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands
While performing duties, you’ll need to stand, walk, and use your hands frequently. You will work in a data center environment with colder than normal temperatures and louder than normal sound levels. Occasionally, you’ll also reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Lifting, moving, and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds is part of this job.
Travel Requirements Up to 10% of the time, you will travel to visit our stores across various locations.
