About the role Location: Houston, Texas Hours: Full-time Thanks to our growth plans for the US and America’s regions, we are now hiring for a Sales Administrator for our Americas region.
The Sales Administrator will contribute, support and administer sales enquiries, ensuring that quotes are prepared, reviewed and issued in accordance with Client requests and internal processes. They will also ensure that internal sales system, “Salesforce”, is updated and accurate for management reference.
This role will also be responsible for sales telephone calls, emails and other correspondence in a professional manner thereby contributing to the efficient and effective coordination and processing of Sales Enquiries and Order Confirmations. The Sales Administrator role will also be asked to support general administration tasks for the region.
About the team Reporting into our Business Development Manager, you’ll be able to lay claim to being one of the early key players of Motive Offshore in the US & Americas, helping us define how we move forward and deliver for our clients & our people. Our small team in the US are based out of Houston and may only be a few strong, but we’re growing and want great people to be a part of that.
And you’ll be working alongside a committed and proud Motive team in the UK & globally that want to play their part in the growth of the business and support each other daily to create a positive, values driven and hard-working professional environment.
Responsibilities People
Adopting and promoting the Motive Offshore Group People Values and ensuring their use is embedded throughout day-to-day tasks and decision making.
Work closely with the regional personnel, coordinating and developing sales enquiries as necessary.
Liaise and correspond with key stakeholders including Clients, Suppliers and other Departments in a professional manner, developing and maintaining good working relationships.
Provide sales support to Motive Offshore personnel based overseas as required.

Undertake training and CPD as required.
Comply with and promote health, safety, quality and environmental regulations and policies, and the Company’s management system.
Product
Organise and coordinate the registration of new enquiries into Salesforce.
In conjunction with Business Development Manager, develop sales enquiries ensuring that Client requests are adhered to, timelines honoured and that submittals are issued to the highest of standards.
Maintain Salesforce in relation to opportunity records and follow up sales activities and sales contacts.
Assist opportunity owners in obtaining and recording in Salesforce customer service and satisfaction results.
Support in the development of Motive processes, templated and procedures.
Monitor the group info@ mailbox and allocate/forward as required.
Execute general administration tasks on behalf of the region to support the smooth running of the department.
Assist in the preparation of sales quotations and associated documentation, including but not limited to contract reviews and management reviews.
Assist in the completion and maintenance of Client and Supplier approval documentation ensuring that Suppliers are onboarded and Motive registered on Client approved vendor lists.
Attend exhibitions and sales events as required.
Required skills / knowledge
Experience of Microsoft Office packages.
Willingness to learn.
Good understanding of office management principles.
Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.
Well-organised with a customer-oriented approach.
High attention to detail.
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of team.
Ability to manage own time effectively.
