Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate individual and business tax returns.
- Conduct virtual client interviews to gather necessary tax information.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Provide tax planning and consultation services.
- Communicate effectively with clients via phone, email, and video.
- Maintain confidentiality and follow company policies.
Qualifications
- Active PTIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number), or ability to obtain before tax season.
- 2+ years of tax preparation experience preferred.
- CPA, EA, or CTP certification.
- Proficiency in tax software (e.g., TurboTax, Drake, ATX).
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable internet connection and computer equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with virtual tax preparation platforms.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws.
- Experience with QuickBooks or Xero.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills.
