Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to underwrite investment opportunities across PEJC.
- Assist in the preparation of internal memoranda and other materials used to support investment recommendations and to communicate with internal constituents.
- Assist with monitoring the performance of existing portfolio investments, including regular communication with private equity firms, management teams and third-party clients.
- Develop and manage relationships with private equity firms and other intermediaries to generate investment deal flow.
- Participate in due diligence meetings with sponsors and portfolio company executives.
Additional Requirements
- Capital markets structuring experience with a preference for a background in private equity, mezzanine finance, leveraged loans, equity research, secondaries, or M&A.
- Demonstrated experience developing and using financial statement analysis and financial modeling.
- Strong proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint required.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and finance.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Willingness to work hard in a team-oriented, performance-based environment.
- A self-starter that requires limited oversight in the completion of individual projects.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
Work Experience
- 1 - 4 years of relevant experience including a private equity fund, hedge fund, investment bank, consulting firm, or a related capital markets position.

Salary Range: $110,000 - $150,000 / annually
