The Department of Orthopaedics and Physical Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina is recruiting a board certified/board eligible Foot and Ankle Orthopedic Surgeon with exceptional expertise in minimally invasive surgical techniques and sports-related foot and ankle injuries.

The incumbent will partner with our current orthopaedic faculty and clinical staff in serving patients in the Charleston tri-county area, including local and regional professional sport teams.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

  • Board certification/eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery with fellowship training in Foot and Ankle Surgery
  • Exceptional proficiency in minimally invasive foot and ankle surgical techniques
  • Specialized expertise in sports-related foot and ankle injuries including arthroscopic procedures and cartilage restoration techniques

Research Commitment

  • Strong commitment to clinical research participation and leadership
  • Willingness to be an active member of collaborative research teams
  • Experience or strong interest in patient-reported outcomes research, surgical technique innovation studies, and multi-center clinical trials
