Position
Web3 Developer
Department

About the Role
Bridgers Finance is looking for a Blockchain Developer to expand the decentralized infrastructure behind Bridgers.xyz and BridgeVault — our multi-chain, non-custodial wallet and cross-chain communication platform. In this role, you’ll design and optimize smart contracts, contribute to the OmniBridge and MetaPath interoperability layers, and work on blockchain integration and validation systems that support more than 50 blockchains and 500+ assets.
This role is ideal for an engineer with strong smart contract development skills and a passion for pushing the boundaries of interoperability and liquidity networks.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, test, and deploy smart contracts on EVM-compatible networks.
Develop decentralized interoperability logic and routing flows for OmniBridge & MetaPath.
Integrate multi-chain transactions using Web3 libraries, RPCs, and cross-chain messaging.
Perform smart contract security reviews and optimize gas efficiency.
Work with backend teams to deliver verifiable wallet and bridge operations.
Monitor on-chain transactions, event listeners, proof validation, and asset mappings.
Write detailed documentation covering smart contract logic and usage.
Participate in audits, bug bounty programs, and security enhancement initiatives.
Contribute to open-source repos powering Bridgers’ decentralized cross-chain architecture.
Requirements
3–5+ years of blockchain / smart contract engineering experience.
Strong proficiency in node.js, Solidity, Rust and smart contract patterns.
Experience with Web3.js/Ethers.js, Hardhat/Foundry/Truffle toolchains.
Understanding of Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, or similar EVM networks.
Hands‑on experience designing, testing, and deploying production contracts.
Experience working with blockchain RPC endpoints and event handling logic.
Familiarity with cryptographic primitives, token standards, and wallet signing flows.
Strong knowledge of version control (Git), CI/CD, and peer code review.
Preferred
Experience in cross‑chain bridging, interoperability protocols, or liquidity routing.
Familiarity with BTC, Tron, Polkadot, or ZK-based protocols.
Experience working with or evaluating oracle and relayer systems.
Knowledge of multi‑chain token wrapping/unwrapping models.
Experience collaborating with external security auditing firms.
Contributions to open-source blockchain infrastructure.
Compensation Structure
Hourly Rate: USD $60 – $85 per hour, depending on experience and expertise.
Billing Cycle: Bi-weekly.
Time Tracking: Via Bridgers’ internal tracking tool or approved platforms.
Payment Method: USDT (TRC20/ERC20), USDC, or USD bank transfer.
Payment Frequency: Within 5 business days after invoice approval.
Minimum Commitment: 20 hours per week.
Bonus & Incentives
Performance Bonus: Up to 10% of total billable hours quarterly, based on contributions to uptime reliability, automation efficiency, or critical project delivery.
Availability Bonus: Additional hourly multiplier (+15%) for on‑call rotation or emergency response outside standard hours.
Retention Bonus: Long‑term contractors (6+ months) may qualify for a loyalty incentive equivalent to one month of average billings.
Contract Duration
