Position Summary: The Interventional Radiologic Technologist is responsible for operating advanced digital equipment and performing complex invasive procedures. This role involves positioning patients and preparing contrast media for both diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in support of physician diagnosis and treatment. A thorough understanding of anatomy and physiology is crucial, as well as comfort with handling various agents such as contrast media, chemotherapy agents, and embolization agents. This is a clinical 100% role, and some procedures may be performed in departments such as the O.R. Cath lab or involving multiple imaging modalities. Mandatory call may be required as necessary. Qualifications: Licensure / Certification / Registration: State of Connecticut Radiographer license. ARRT certification in Radiography required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Education:

Must be a graduate from an accredited Radiography program. Experience:

Minimum of 1 year as a Radiologic Technologist required; 1-2 years of Interventional Radiology experience preferred. We are dedicated to nurturing your career!
