As a Sonic Multi-Unit Leader, you will manage the operations of all General Managers and employees across multiple SONIC drive-ins. Your responsibilities include training and supporting staff to ensure the delivery of quality food in a clean, safe, and efficient environment, providing guests with an enjoyable experience.
Manage, train, and coach General Managers and employees; conduct management orientations.
Direct and assign employees to meet operational standards.
Oversee employees performing duties in various stations (Fountain & Frozen, Dresser, Front Swamp, Back Swamp, Grill, Switchboard, Expeditor, Food Prep, Carhop, Skating Carhop, Drive-Thru) to ensure quality and presentation of menu items.
Ensure compliance with employee handbook, policies, and practices.
Address employee issues and policy violations promptly and report to supervisors.
Review work schedules to ensure proper staffing and guest service.
Monitor costs related to food, labor, and inventory; take corrective actions as needed.
Supervise vendor performance and take corrective actions when necessary.
Audit employment and payroll records.
Prioritize guest needs and respond to escalated guest requests and complaints respectfully.
Recruit, interview, and hire management team members.
Approve employee and management compensation within guidelines.
Prepare operational reports and develop action plans for financial and sales trends.
Develop and implement regional marketing plans.
Additional Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; advanced studies preferred.
Minimum 3 years restaurant management experience; multi-unit supervision preferred.
Ability to work a minimum of 5 days per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing, and labor laws.
Leadership, communication, basic accounting, and computer skills.
Ability to work independently, multitask, and resolve problems effectively.
Maintain appearance, uniform, and hygiene standards.
