Overview The Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) Effectors team within the Hardware Discipline Directorate is responsible for developing production and engineering test solutions for all Raytheon products. This role leads a section of project leadership and technical professionals and ensures successful delivery from early engineering through manufacturing acceptance.

What You Will Do

Supervise and lead a team of approximately 12‑185 section members.

Allocate the Section Lead duties to about 15% of your work week while the remainder is charged to program contracts.

Establish measurable goals and communicate them with the team and wider department.

Conduct performance reviews and career development discussions with team members.

Lead by example and uphold Raytheon values and behaviors.

Collaborate with multi‑discipline teams to operate, test, and troubleshoot systems.

Provide independent health checks by evaluating program metrics.

Participate in center initiatives and support program hiring goals.

Engage Program Managers, Chief Engineers, and Cross Product Team leads to drive program and business unit results.

Lead onboarding of new section personnel.

Qualifications You Must Have

Degree in STEM and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.

Experience as an IPTL, sub‑IPTL, CAM, REA, or Project Team Lead.

Technical leadership experience.

Familiarity with the Test Equipment Engineering One‑Page Process.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with career development of team members.

Background in program configuration management tools such as Integrated Master Schedules, PMX, or tracking books.

Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS).

Knowledge of Proposal Capture Process and Basis of Estimates.

Experience with Estimate at Complete (EAC) processes.

Salary Range:

$124,000 – $250,000 USD.
