Conveyancer - Residential The firm is a full-service law firm based in Harrogate.

They are a down-to‑earth, friendly firm. There are a total of 23 members of staff across our Leeds and Harrogate offices, with further expansion plans in 2026. The firm is a thriving and expanding law practice committed to serving individuals and businesses with an enviable client base.

We are looking for an enthusiastic conveyancer to join our reputable and growing conveyancing team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with an experienced conveyancing team and help build the team and our local working relationships with estate agents and mortgage brokers.

The role As a conveyancer working in the residential conveyancing department, you will deal with all manner of conveyancing work to include purchases, sales, transfer of equity, remortgages (both freehold and leasehold), shared equity, staircasing and more. You will be responsible for the file from start to finish.

You will have the support of a conveyancing assistant working 1-1 with you to assist with the caseload and administrative tasks with the assistance of a case management system.

Candidate The ideal candidate will:-

Have a minimum of 5 years’ of working within a similar role and be confident running a full and varied caseload of approximately 60-100 files.

Have strong customer service skills and able to work to various deadlines

Have excellent organisational and time-management skills and work well under pressure

Have excellent IT skills

Experience using case management systems is desirable (proclaim/redbrick/quill or other)

Have excellent attention to detail

Have very good verbal and written communication skills

Have a clear understanding of confidentiality / Data Protection

Have the ability to work in a team, whilst having the initiative to work alone

Have a full clean driving licence (ideally)

Live locally

Be willing to train and develop junior members of staff whilst they assist
