Simple Steps LLC is hiring a Behavior Therapist in San Antonio, TX. Flexible hours and competitive rates.
We are seeking Independent Contract therapists to serve for the following:
Provide one‑on‑one therapy sessions with children and adults with disabilities.
Create tailored programs for individuals with TBI, PTSD, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Spinal Cord Injury, Spina Bifida, Developmental Delay, and/or other physical or intellectual disabilities.
Provide evaluations and ongoing services.
Complete weekly and quarterly documentation as needed.
Qualifications
Psychologist licensed under Texas Occupations Code Chapter 501; or provisional license holder; or psychological associate under Chapter 501.
Clinical social worker licensed under Texas Occupations Code Chapter 505.
Licensed professional counselor under Chapter 503; or behavior analyst certified by BABC.
Received training or have experience in behavioral support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Travel to clients’ homes and transport clients during visits.
Maintain reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and agency‑required auto liability insurance (100k/300k Bodily Injury).
Communicate with health care professionals, clients, families, and the general public through verbal and written communication.
Have access to a private laptop or desktop for HIPAA compliance.
Track SMART goals and progress through weekly documentation using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Reader.
Implement patient care plans through home and community goal‑related activities.
Work independently, manage one’s own time and the time of clients.
Required Documents
Resume.
Certification/License in respective field (LCSW, LPC, BCBA, etc.).
Professional Liability Insurance (upon hire).
Valid Driver’s License.
Valid Social Security Card.
