Loan Documentation Specialist
Location:
Winston-Salem, NC | Onsite COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE • Pay: $20.47 / hour •
Training:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM •
Regular Schedule:
Tuesday – Saturday, working an 8 hour shift between the hours of 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM
ROLE IMPACT:
The Loan Documentation Specialist plays a key role in supporting dealer finance operations by reviewing, verifying, and processing loan documentation to ensure completeness and compliance with internal and regulatory standards. Success in this position is defined by accuracy in documentation, responsiveness to dealer inquiries, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining service quality and efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide professional and timely client service to dealer partners by responding to loan and documentation inquiries • Review and verify loan applications and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance with verification guidelines • Attach and organize new loan packages, ensuring complete and accurate records of collateral, invoices, and related documents • Identify, track, and resolve incomplete or discrepant loan packages • Support and mentor junior team members while assisting with complex documentation issues • Execute reporting and department support processes as directed by leadership • Conduct customer verification calls and manage documentation for loan proceeds confirmations
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS • 2+ years of experience in loan processing, documentation control, or financial operations • Strong attention to detail with proven accuracy in data and document handling • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree not required) • Good job stability (a minimum of 1 year at all previous roles) • Must live within a 30 mile radius of Winston-Salem, NC • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills • Okay with flexible scheduling to meet business demands
CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) • Windows 10 environment • Loan documentation and verification systems (training provided)
PREFERRED SKILLS • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field • Experience in retail or indirect financing • Strong decision-making and organizational abilities • Advanced computer proficiency and customer service background
