Andgar Mechanical, LLC has a new opening for a Full-time Residential HVAC Specialist Lead based out of our headquarters in Ferndale, WA.
This position performs all aspects of Residential HVAC installation, leads other specialists on projects requiring more than one installer and works with various types of materials and systems while adhering to Andgar company policies and standards.

Essential Job Functions:
Performs layout, fabrication and installation of Residential HVAC equipment
Specializes in training new specialist in the layout, fabrication and installation of Residential HVAC equipment, as well as completion of these tasks when required
Ability to understand and perform low voltage control wiring and schematic reading.
Self-motivated with the ability to lead a team successfully on projects.
Have a time management approach to work but understand when to excel with customer service.
Ability to commission gas heating appliances, ductless and unitary heat pump and AC systems.
Adheres to assigned work schedule, with ability to work overtime when required (attendance and punctuality)
Works with a variety of tools, both power tools and hand tools
Maintains quality, efficiency and neatness of work on all installation jobs to Andgar standards
Responds to phone messages, emails in timely manner
Comply with all applicable standards, policies, or procedures, maintaining a clean work area
Seeks assistance as needed and asks questions in a timely manner and to appropriate staff
Additional duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Mastery of gas piping install and sizing
Knowledge of field lay-out; duct measurement
Knowledge of duct systems’ industry standards and codes
Consistently meets the overall goals of Residential HVAC department
Ability to work in all interior and exterior work environments where HVAC systems are found
Ability to learn and show retention of skills learned in the work environment
Ability to follow instructions with appropriate level of self-direction
Ability to troubleshoot, as well as do repetitive work as needed
Ability to instigate work in progress without supervision
Ability to listen, communicate and interact with customers, coworkers, contractors, vendors and management on a positive level
Responsive to inter-company personnel
Education & Experience:
Prior completion of a minimum of 25 furnace change outs independently
Completion of duct sizing class within 6 months of hire/ position
Previous gas piping experience required
High School Diploma or GED
Electrical Trainee CardO6A- or O6B electrical journeyman or trainee; CEU’s completed on time
Proper Training for lifting, Forklift and Boom lift, and first aid as appropriate
Current Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
