Scope Brightway Insurance’s dynamic 6 to 12‑month program is designed to cultivate business professionals into future industry leaders. Through comprehensive training and mentorship in product knowledge, sales techniques, and business operations, you’ll gain the skills needed to excel. Tailored to your progression, the program offers a phased approach with specific milestones and support structures, ensuring your success in this stable yet dynamic industry. Embark on a journey from onboarding and education to hands‑on experience with the possibility of ownership of a thriving business, all within a supportive and growth‑oriented environment.
As a Business Development Associate at Brightway you will…
Gain a deep understanding of Brightway’s business model and proven operational practices
Engage with warm leads from Brightway’s existing book of business to generate new opportunities
Develop new carrier leads through prospecting and lead development
Maintain a book of business, focusing on territory development and relationship retention.
Conduct proactive outreach via calls and emails to promote Brightway’s value proposition
Under general supervision, focus on sales, leads, retention, customer service and community of Brightway with our carriers
Efficiently organize and prioritize daily tasks using calendars, checklists, and planning tools
Maintain consistent and professional communication through email and internal systems
Identify and recommend opportunities to improve processes and enhance sales performance
Accurately document all activities and follow‑ups in tracking systems
Collaborate with team members to support seamless operations and shared goals
What we are looking for:
Ability to obtain Personal Lines licensure within 2 months
Ability to perform work with a high degree of accuracy, exceptional attention to detail
Superior customer service mindset: a desire and ability to deliver service that provides a high level of satisfaction
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Superior interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communicator; must be able to convey ideas in a clear and concise manner
Excellent independent judgment and decision making
Ability to learn, embrace and put into practice new concepts and skills
Superior ability to manage own time, activities and resources, models behavior for others
Can demonstrate Brightway values of Smart, Accountable and Trustworthy
This position requires a bachelor’s degree and 0‑3 years’ experience in a customer service or sales environment
Education or experience focused in insurance, risk management or entrepreneurship is preferred, but not required.
The program duration ranges from 6 to 12 months, depending on the employee’s progression and the nature of the role they transition into upon program completion.

Contribute as a producing agent at a Brightway franchise location
Launch your own Brightway Agency in a mutually agreed‑upon city and state, contingent upon meeting established production metrics
