Get to Know Your Team:

Lovelace Medical Center is an acute care hospital with 263 licensed beds, providing comprehensive care, including around‑the‑clock emergency care, surgical services, non‑invasive robotic spine surgery, stroke care, radiology and oncology services.

Responsibilities

Provides clinical leadership and promotes quality patient care by training and leading assigned staff.

Collaborates with the manager and/or director in developing and revising department quality assurance, performance improvement, policies, procedures, and protocols. Serves as a department liaison and first line of contact with patients, providers, and staff.

Coordinates and oversees the safe delivery of complex, non‑routine treatments of patients.

Performs facility‑specific specialty procedures as required. Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Job Requirements

Associate's Degree or Diploma from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program.

Supervision/Management knowledge and experience; Clinical/Specialty expertise.

One year of critical care experience and one (1) year of related supervisory/lead experience in a hospital setting.

Current NM Respiratory Care License; BLS. ACLS or National Specialty Certification.

Preferred Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in a related field; Certification in clinical specialty.

Three (3) years of related experience.

AARC Membership; National Specialty Certification.
