Certified Surgical First Assist (CSFA) – Midland, MI
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shifts: 3×12 Days | 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Call: 1–2 nights/week + every 4th weekend
Compensation: $2,006 gross weekly
W2: $18.00/hr
Stipends: $1,358/wk
Lodging: $840
M&IE: $518
Guaranteed Hours: 36/week

2+ years CSFA experience (required) NBSTSA or ABSA certification (required) AHA BLS (required) Candidates must be non‑local only (50‑mile radius restriction) Prior travel assignment experience is preferred Responsibilities
Assist the surgeon in patient care during surgery (exposure, hemostasis, closure, technical functions) Proper draping, retracting, suctioning, sponging, suturing, tissue handling, and cautery techniques Ensure all supplies, instruments, and equipment are prepared and available for each procedure Support OR team through patient positioning, preparation, and intraoperative assistance Seniority level
