Assistant Property Manager – The Point at Royal Palm Beach

Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (APM works one weekend a month)
$1,000 One‑Time Sign‑On Bonus

Primary Responsibilities
Assist the Property Manager on the day‑to‑day operations of the property while guiding an onsite team of an assistant property manager, leasing consultant, maintenance supervisor, maintenance technician, and floating maintenance technician.
Work closely with the Property Manager and onsite leasing team to achieve leasing, marketing, and operational targets while focusing on occupancy and retention objectives.
Work closely with the management and maintenance teams to provide top‑quality service to residents.
Prepare resident correspondence related to rents and community compliance matters.
Cultivate and maintain strong resident relationships through regular communication, ongoing outreach events, and effective problem‑solving.
Prepare regular financial reports and account statements.
Work closely with the Property Manager to monitor the status of resident accounts.
Work closely with the leasing team to ensure an accurate and effective leasing process.
Monitor and strategically evaluate current market trends with a focus on competitor performance and promotions.

What We’re Looking for in an Assistant Property Manager Candidate
Valid driver’s license required
Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
Great people skills and a desire to provide residents an exceptional residential experience through superior in‑person service and quality property management
High school or GED equivalent
Thoughtful leadership skills to foster a supportive and productive onsite team environment
1–2 years of experience as an Assistant Property Manager in property management
A strong working knowledge of multi‑family financial processes
Experience with various digital platforms, including Microsoft Office Suite and industry‑related software
Knowledge of relevant local, state, and federal legislation and regulations
Ability to maintain a “can‑do” attitude to ensure the property’s success
Successful completion of required background and drug screening prior to start of employment
