Registered as a

Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

by the

National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) . Licensure:

Must hold

state licensure

as required. Additional Certifications: NRP

(Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Required within

1 year

if assigned to

NICU

(tracked on unit). PALS

(Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Required within

1 year

if assigned to

ED

(tracked on unit). ACLS

(Advanced Cardiac Life Support). BLS

(Basic Life Support) through the

American Heart Association

or

American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer . Must have a valid

BLS or CPR card in-hand

before the start date. Certification must be valid for at least

60 days from the date of hire .
