ROLE OVERVIEW We are seeking an experienced
Senior Mechanical Engineer
to lead mechanical and piping design efforts for multi-disciplinary industrial projects. In this key role, you will engage in both front-end and detailed engineering phases, collaborating closely with internal teams, vendors, and clients to drive project success.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead front-end and detailed piping design activities
Perform piping stress analysis and piping support design
Select appropriate piping materials and develop specifications
Ensure compliance with ASME B31.1, B31.3, B31.4, and B31.8 standards
Coordinate design activities with cross-functional teams and suppliers
Mechanical Equipment Specification
Lead mechanical equipment selection, specification, and design
Prepare hydraulic calculations, datasheets, and detailed specification drawings
Ensure designs meet ASME, API, and client-specific facility standards
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
10+ years of experience in petrochemical, oil & gas, power generation, or similar industries
Prior experience with engineering consulting strongly preferred
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Proficiency in CAESAR II, NozzlePRO/FEPipe, PV Elite, and PipeFLO
Strong knowledge of ASME, API, PIP, PFI, MSS, and ANSI standards
Understanding of welding procedures, metallurgy, and corrosion mitigation
Excellent communication and leadership skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
PE license (or eligibility for registration through NCEES)
Valid TWIC card or the ability to obtain one
