Job Summary: This role is responsible for fabricating, modifying, and repairing steel molds to support the production of high-quality precast concrete products.
As a Steel Fabricator, You Will:
Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project requirements and specifications
Fabricate steel molds used to form custom and standard precast concrete products
Set up, operate, and maintain fabrication and welding equipment
Work independently with minimal supervision while meeting production and quality standards
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including tools and equipment
Skills and Requirements:
3+ years of MIG welding and fabrication experience (required)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Working knowledge of measuring tools and product tolerance
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Training or apprenticeship in fabrication, welding, and blueprint reading
