Radiology Department Overview The Radiology Department performs 25,000 imaging exams annually using a Philips 64‑slice CT scanner, MRI, ultrasound, and Hologic 3D mammography. CT and general X‑ray services are available 24/7, with ultrasound and MRI performed on weekdays and Saturday‑Sunday ultrasound call coverage.

Job Description Seeking experienced CT/Rad Tech with excellent customer service skills.

Cross training into other modalities and certification (based on Radiology Department needs) is required, and existing CT certification is required. Mammography certification desirable.

The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing routine, trauma, intraoperative, and radiological imaging.

Compensation Differentials

Evening differential: $3 per hour

Weekend differential: $2 per hour (in addition to any applicable Evening or Night differentials)

Job Qualifications

Satisfactory completion of a formal radiological technology program in a CAHEA approved school and certification by the ARRT or its equivalent.

Current Vermont unrestricted State license to practice radiologic technology.

Demonstrated competence as a licensed professional by maintaining professional growth and development.

Maintains certification in Tech’s special modality.

CT certification required; Mammography certification strongly preferred.

Shifts / Hours The anticipated schedule includes 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday. The remaining twenty‑four hours for the biweekly schedule can include eight, ten, or twelve‑hour shifts typically scheduled for start times between 7 a.m.–12 p.m. Specific schedule preferences and department needs can be discussed in an interview. Participation in a weekday evening/night call rotation may be necessary. Details can be discussed during the interview.

Sign‑On Bonus and Relocation Assistance A sign‑on bonus ranging between $6,000 and $15,000 (subject to applicable taxes, paid out in three payments) is available for this position. Amount of bonus depends on years of experience. In addition, relocation assistance of $9,200 (subject to applicable taxes) is available to eligible candidates.
