Role Overview As a
Detailer 1 , you will support projects from concept through installation by providing precise detailing and file processing for fabrication, machining, and construction. You will work closely with other detailers, engineers, and project managers, primarily from the office while occasionally supporting work in the shop or at customer sites.
Responsibilities
Interpret drawings and documentation for fabrication, machining, and construction
Conduct accurate record keeping and file management in accordance with company operating procedures
Create CAD files using software for CNC equipment
Gather and interpret information to assist with pricing and proposals as assigned
Assist other detailers, project managers, engineers, and purchasing to track material needs for assigned projects
Design and navigate 3D/2D CAD software and equipment processing software
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
6 months to 2 years internship or relevant work experience preferred
Completion of a relevant 2–3 year technical program in CAD
Knowledge of the fabrication process and drafting principles
Willingness to perform hands‑on work and maintain current industry standards
Valid driver’s license required
Working Conditions
Walk, use hands to handle objects or tools, reach with hands and arms
Sit, talk, listen, observe, read, write, and type
Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted
