Job Summary Middleby Refrigeration is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Assembly Supervisor to join our team in Greenville, MI. This critical role oversees daily assembly operations, ensuring production goals are met while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. The Assembly Supervisor will lead and support team members, foster a collaborative environment, and drive continuous improvement on the shop floor.

Expected Hours Of Work This position is full‑time. The general scheduled workdays are Monday through Friday 5:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
Position Overview The Assembly Supervisor plays a vital role in supporting production operations by leading assembly team members, coordinating workflow, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. You will be responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day assembly activities, maintaining accurate production records, and providing frontline support to employees to achieve production goals.
Responsibilities
Manage team members – monitor performance and provide feedback.
Perform the same work duties as those supervised or perform more difficult or skilled tasks or assist in their performance.
Monitor employee productivity and motivate workers to ensure hourly/daily pace goal is met.
Train new employees and cross‑train personnel by adhering to and executing the training system supplied.
Manage resources to meet pace and quality goals.
Display good leadership qualities, including integrity, ability to communicate effectively, maintain relationships with production associates, and motivate.
Look for positive qualities in associates to coach up to higher levels of employment.
Read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports.
Understand how production flows through the facility.
Work with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
Effectively communicate with management and serve as a conduit between management and your team members.
Maintain a clean work environment.
Maintain safety conscience at all times and ensure associates operate safely.
Team player and foster an environment that ensures each member is working toward the common goal.
Perform other duties as assigned/required.
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience as lead or supervisor of 5–30 people in an assembly line environment.
Proven experience meeting and maintaining daily production goals.
Technical knowledge of refrigeration preferred.
Drive to push production.
Must be motivated and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
Ability to work on a variety of units at the same time.
Strong manual dexterity, able to adjust to changing job assignments quickly and easily.
Ability to use basic assembly tools – pneumatic, cordless, and hand tools.
Ability to troubleshoot and problem‑solve.
Can read/interpret drawings or blueprints.
Can easily follow technical instructions.
Experienced with navigating through a BOM and determine the correct materials to use for the assembly.
Must pass pre‑employment drug screen and background check.
