About the Role: Our client is actively seeking a
Mechanical Assembler
to join their team. This position focuses on assembling high-quality fixtures in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in mechanical assembly and a working knowledge of industry standards such as IPC 620 and IPC-J-STD-001. Key Responsibilities: Assemble functional and precise fixtures based on engineering drawings and customer/internal specifications. Perform quality control on both internal and vendor-supplied machine parts. Machine and rework parts as needed to meet design specifications. Support quality control in wiring processes. Receive and inspect purchased/vendor items. Qualifications: Prior experience working with IPC 620 and IPC-J-STD-001 standards. Strong understanding of mechanical fixtures and their functions. Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and layouts. Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective collaboration skills; ability to work well in a team setting. Good manual dexterity and experience using hand tools, small power, and machinery. Preferred: Prior fixture assembly experience in a manufacturing or prototyping environment.
