Job Title: Electrical Construction Section Manager Job Description Join our team in Phoenix, AZ as an Electrical Construction Section Manager, where you will oversee crucial electrical infrastructure projects for a new fab development. This role involves managing multiple large-scale projects simultaneously, each with a scope exceeding $100 million, and serving as an Electrical Subject Matter Expert to drive fast-paced construction progress. Responsibilities
Report to the Construction Department Manager and coordinate with personnel across various disciplines.
Collaborate with Mechanical, Structural, Civil, Architects, BIM, EOR, Drafters, and Utility Providers to meet project needs.
Manage a team of 4 to 10 Electrical Project Engineers while remaining actively involved in project milestones and progress.
Oversee the construction, installation, and commissioning of electrical power supply and equipment, including high‑voltage utility power supply (up to 230 kV or higher) and medium‑ to low‑voltage distribution systems.
Ensure quality, safety, and security of all electrical construction activities.
Handle code interpretation, project planning, scheduling, resource monitoring, and interface coordination.
Create and maintain comprehensive project schedules and milestones for all phases of electrical construction.
Identify and assess potential scheduling risks and address unforeseen conflicts or delays.
Implement construction KPIs and tracking logs, holding subcontractors accountable for progress and expectations.
Provide accurate project updates to management.
Essential Skills
Master's Degree in Engineering with a Concentration in Power Systems (may consider related field).
5+ years of experience in the U.S. in electrical construction for the semiconductor industry or large‑scale industrial projects.
Proficiency in project software tools such as AutoCAD, Navisworks, Microsoft Project, and data analysis software like Excel.
Experience with semiconductor facility electrical construction or high‑tech manufacturing power system commissioning.
Familiarity with Arizona's local construction regulations and practices.
Experience managing electrical construction projects ranging from 230 kV to 50 V.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with $500 m+ projects ($100 m+ per project).
Experience with data centers or high‑tech manufacturing power systems.
Experience managing direct reports and creating project milestones.
Ability to work with international teams and drive fast‑paced construction progress.
