Job Description Applicants must have at least two years experience in underwriting working for a reputable small business lending/funding company in underwriting.
Our Clientis seeking an experienced small business credit analyst/underwriter to join our team. Candidate will be responsible for using a combination of analytical skills, critical thinking skills, and proprietary credit risk model to make approval and funding decisions based on the creditworthiness of small business applicants.
Responsibilities of the Underwriter
Review customer's personal and business credit.
Preform a review of customer's bank statements, P&L, balance Sheet, AR, Tax return
Analysis of the customers ability to service potential debt
Generate approvals/declines and determine required stipulations for funding
Review of stipulations
Communicate decisions effectively in both verbal and written communication
Requirements of the Underwriter
Minimum two years experience in underwriting working for a reputable small business lending/funding company as an underwriter.
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or comparable area of study
Ability to review Credit reports, P&L, Balance Sheet, and Tax Returns
Proficient in Excel, and CRM
Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Strong analytical, interpersonal, and presentation skills
