Our client, a government agency supporting statewide digital infrastructure, is seeking a UI UX Designer to join their team. As a UI UX Designer, you will be part of the Digital Development Department supporting the statewide voter registration system project. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for creating accessible and user-friendly digital experiences, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: UI UX Designer Location: Madison, WI What's the Job?
Design, develop, and maintain the UI/UX for the Wisconsin statewide voter registration system, WisVote, utilizing .NET Core framework.
Create low-fidelity wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes to visualize and test design concepts.
Conduct user research, gather qualitative and quantitative data, and analyze findings to inform design decisions.
Develop user personas, user flows, and journey maps to understand user needs and behaviors.
Collaborate effectively with developers, stakeholders, and other team members to articulate design choices and ensure project success.
What's Needed?
At least 3 years of experience creating wireframes and prototypes to visualize design concepts.
Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and user-friendly interface text.
Experience conducting user research and analyzing data to inform design decisions.
Knowledge of accessibility guidelines, especially WCAG standards, is a plus.
Familiarity with ASP.NET Core frameworks, third-party UI libraries like Telerik UI, and front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
