Job Function Sales and Business Development

Key Responsibilities Advanced Sales Analytics and Insights

Lead in-depth analysis of sales data to uncover trends, assess performance, and identify growth opportunities across brands, markets, and channels.

Develop sophisticated financial models and dashboards that assess pricing effectiveness, market share performance, and profitability.

Provide actionable insights to leadership and stakeholders, translating complex data into clear recommendations that align with strategic objectives.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver robust reporting, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and timeliness in all outputs.

Pricing Strategy and Profitability

Manage and optimize pricing strategies to improve margin performance and enhance market competitiveness.

Perform advanced pricing and profitability analyses, identifying risks and opportunities to maximize revenue.

Ensure accuracy and consistency in pricing data, reconciling discrepancies and proactively improving processes.

Partner with Sales, Finance, and Marketing teams to evaluate and implement effective pricing programs that align with organizational objectives.

Operational Efficiency and Process Improvement

Identify opportunities for process improvements in data reporting, analysis, and systems to streamline workflows and enhance decision‑making.

Act as a key liaison with cross‑functional teams to align on strategic objectives and implement best practices in analytics and reporting.

Drive the standardization and automation of reporting processes, utilizing advanced tools and technologies to increase efficiency and scalability.

Serve as a subject matter expert for reporting systems, providing training and support to ensure seamless adoption and effective usage.

Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication

Partner with Sales Management, Finance, and supplier teams to align on financial planning, reporting, and strategic initiatives.

Prepare and deliver high‑impact presentations to leadership, leveraging data visualizations and storytelling to communicate findings and recommendations.

Support supplier business reviews and other stakeholder meetings with data‑driven insights and actionable plans.

Special Projects And Responsibilities

Lead and contribute to high‑priority projects and initiatives that require advanced analytics and cross‑department collaboration.

Conduct analysis to support strategic decision‑making, such as category business planning, market share analysis, and revenue optimization.

Education Required qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or advanced certification is a plus.

Experience

5+ years of progressive experience in sales analytics, financial planning, or related roles, with a proven track record of success.

Expertise in data analysis, pricing strategies, and financial modeling within a sales‑focused organization.

Technical Skills

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and macros) and PowerPoint.

Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, or similar platforms.

Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems (AS400) is preferred.

Strong programming or scripting skills in SQL or Python are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

MBA or advanced certification in analytics or financial management (e.g., CFA, CPA).

Experience in alcohol beverage, consumer goods, retail, or a related industry.

Familiarity with machine learning, predictive analytics, or other advanced analytical methods.
