About the Role – Event Sales Manager

The Event Sales Manager is responsible for selling and servicing events with a primary focus on Banquet Food & Beverage, including menu planning, agenda setting, and hotel meeting services. The role also involves reviewing contracts, facilitating communication before, during, and after events with hotel staff to ensure a high level of service, soliciting complex accounts through direct sales and marketing contacts, and hosting hotel tours. Responsibilities

Sell and service events, focusing on Banquet Food & Beverage, including menu planning, agenda setting, and hotel meeting services. Review contracts and facilitate communication before, during, and after events with hotel staff to ensure a high level of service. Solicit complex accounts through direct sales and marketing contacts that exhibit business potential. Host hotel tours, maintain strong customer relationships, participate in and may lead event meetings and other staff meetings, and work as a team member with the sales and events staff. Wage Information

The salary range for this position is $61,800 to $86,600. This is the pay range for this position that Hyatt Regency La Jolla reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education. All Candidates must be in possession of identification proving authorization to work in the United States. This Position does not offer sponsorship of Work Visas.
