About the Position We are looking for a
Residential Care Associate II
to join our team at our River Bridge SRTF in Eugene, Oregon! The position requires support to residents according to their individualized treatment plan with a focus on personal care services, environmental intervention, and limited group social and recreational treatment activities, utilizing an approved evidence‑based group curriculum. Responsibilities include administering prescribed medications, documenting on medical charts and count sheets, assisting clients with self‑administration of medications, transporting clients to and from the program as needed, and maintaining productivity standards for documentation of services. The position falls under the AFSCME bargaining unit, with wages, benefits and working conditions set in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.
Training Program With our MHACBO‑accredited training program, you will earn CEUs toward applicable mental health certifications while attending required paid training and receiving qualified clinical supervision and on‑the‑job experience.
Work Schedule Monday and Tuesday, 10:00 pm – 8:00 am (Part Time, Night)
What You'll Make $21.63 - $22.96 per hour
DOE/Credentials.
An additional $3.00 per hour night shift differential will apply during the work hours of 10:00 pm – 6:00 am.
Additional 5% language differential offered for bilingual or multilingual candidates (Spanish/English desired).
About the Program River Bridge is a secure, co‑ed, 16‑bed program serving adults living with a mental illness. It offers multiple therapeutic areas for residents, and a large private backyard for recreational activities.
ColumbiaCare Services is a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program.
What You'll Need Must be eligible for Qualified Mental Health Associate registration through the Mental Health & Addiction Certification Board of Oregon (MHACBO). Eligibility requires 1 of the following:
Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science: Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Human Development, or related field.
Minimum three (3) years of verifiable behavioral health experience working with individuals with behavioral health needs in a supervised setting.
Equivalently combined behavioral science education and satisfactory supplemental behavioral health experience and training.
Will be required to register as a QMHA – R through MHACBO during the first week of employment.
Driving is an essential function. You must provide a valid driver’s license from your state or obtain and submit one within 30 days of hire, maintain a safe driving record, and pass a DHS criminal background check.
Physical Demands: The position requires frequent talk, listen, use hands and fingers, reach, stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, climb stairs, and lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds. Occasional use of ladders, squat/kneel, and other physical tasks may be required. You must also complete crisis de‑escalation and CPR trainings requiring various physical, hands‑on maneuvers and techniques, possibly lifting and transferring clients.
