Technical Sales Advisor Location: Montgomeryville, PA (onsite role)

Position Overview As a Technical Sales Advisor at Timberlane, you are not simply “selling”, you are guiding, educating, and advocating for the customer through a high-touch, design-oriented purchase. You will deliver a polished, white-glove experience to both trade professionals and homeowners by forming real relationships, deeply understanding each client's goals, and helping them confidently select the right solution. You will work a high volume of warm, marketing-generated leads while maintaining quality, professionalism, and emotional intelligence in every interaction. Success in this role requires drive, positivity, discipline, curiosity, and pride in exceeding expectations, not just hitting numbers.

Key Responsibilities White-Glove Customer Experience

Create a warm, professional, and trust-based experience from first contact through final order.

Build genuine rapport while maintaining confidence, structure, and control of the sales process.

Act as a customer advocate, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and follow-through at every step.

Deliver technical information in a calm, confident, and easy-to-understand manner.

Set clear expectations around timing, pricing, process, and outcomes.

Represent the Timberlane brand with polish, integrity, and emotional maturity.

Demonstrate ownership, urgency, and reliability in all commitments.

Embrace feedback, coaching, and continuous personal improvement.

Sales Execution & Pipeline Management

Create and continuously foster relationships with customers by making 60-75 outbound phone calls daily.

Quickly identify customer needs, motivations, and decision criteria.

Guide prospects through Timberlane's proven consultative selling process.

Maintain a healthy pipeline through disciplined follow-up and CRM management.

Accurately forecast and manage opportunities through Salesforce.

Achieve activity KPIs, conversion metrics, and revenue targets consistently.

Product & Technical Guidance

Counsel customers on the right materials, styles, functionality, and installation considerations.

Prepare accurate, detailed proposals with exceptional attention to detail.

Collaborate with engineering, production, and operations to ensure seamless execution.

Qualifications

Self-motivated and empathetic individuals with strong people skills.

Great verbal and written communication and typing skills.

2+ years of outbound or consultative phone sales experience required.

Building products, construction, or millwork experience is a strong plus.

Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office proficiency required.

High accountability, strong work ethic, and positive attitude required.
