We are seeking a Windchill solutions consultant to support the deliverables of our global team and initiatives. As a member of our team, using Agile practices, you will lead us to timely delivery of high-quality technical solutions that drive cross functional business strategies and initiatives.
The team you will be part of Our Engineering Systems team is a diverse and global team, supporting the people and systems in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). Our mission is to empower our global PLM users to bring high quality products to market faster, using best-in-class technology, consistent processes and services, and trusted data that improves the product design, launch, manufacturing, and overall lifecycle management.
What You Will Be Doing Key Responsibilities
Envisioning, implementing and supporting solutions (technical or non-technical) to resolve business problems or improve business processes
Building relationships with and consulting with client groups
Developing system requirements and identifying alternatives for solutions that use PLM technologies
Specifically
Implement functionality for Supplier Collaboration through Windchill ProjectLink and Supplier Management (SUMA).
Assist in other PLM initiatives involving MPMLink & Process Plans, Plant/Enterprise Data, and our SAP S4 to Windchill Migration
Key Skills/Abilities
Knowledge and understanding of Product Life Cycle Management business processes
Deep Windchill background that includes Workflow Design, Type and Attribute Management, Container Strategy and Access Control Policies, Object Initialization Rules, Life Cycle Definition, Team Templates, Change Process and Templates, Vaulting and Replication, Queue Management, 3D Publishing, CAD Data Management, XBOM Management, Visual Work instructions, Parts Classification, Installation, Preferences and Properties, etc.
Open minded, positive, can-do attitude
Ability to build trust with peers and help others when needed
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Accomplished Project Management and organizational skills
Expert in communication of all forms (written, verbal, 1:1, large groups) to any audience (internal, external, peers, executives, etc.)
Technical Components of the position includes such tools and technologies as
PTC Products: Windchill, Creo, ThingWorx
ERP Systems: SAP ECC, SAP S/4
Programming Skills: Java, JavaScript, SQL
Other: MS Office Suite, MS Azure DevOps
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required.
Five years of experience working with Windchill and PLM business processes.
Experience with integration between Windchill and ERP systems.
Experience implementing ProjectLink for supplier collaboration.
Experience implementing Windchill SUMA for supplier management.
Experience working in an Agile (SCRUM) environment preferred.
