Role Overview
The Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a vital role in our sales division. The primary goal is to generate new business opportunities in the US by prospecting and qualifying leads, setting the stage for our sales team to close deals. This involves cold calling, emailing, networking, social media outreach, and attending business events to identify potential customers and connect them with our solutions.
Responsibilities
Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities.
Prioritize leads from various sources.
Identify potential clients through cold calling and email outreach.
Introduce Bespin US’s products and services to potential clients.
Assess client needs and recommend suitable products/services.
Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
Arrange meetings or calls between prospective clients and the sales team.
Stay informed about new products, services, pricing, and industry trends.
Qualifications
5-7 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in a cloud-related BDR role.
Experience with sales techniques such as cold calling.
Proven success in scheduling meetings that lead to closed deals.
Consistent achievement of sales quotas.
Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
Proficiency in MS Excel for analyzing data.
Understanding of sales performance metrics.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to deliver compelling presentations.
Strong knowledge of the cloud industry.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in SaaS, professional, or managed cloud services sales.
Knowledge of CSP programs like AWS MAP.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
