Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Chemist to support analytical testing and quality control processes within our Specialty Synthesis Group. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills and a solid understanding of chemical analytical methods—particularly chromatography techniques (HPLC, UPLC, GC)—to evaluate and interpret data for a wide range of products, including Photochromic Dyes and OLED materials.
This role requires a self-starter who can work independently in a quality-controlled environment, ensuring accurate testing, documentation, and communication between production and QC teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and submit analytical samples for incoming raw materials, in-process batches, and finished goods in a timely manner.
Perform tabulation and interpretation of analytical test data.
Serve as a liaison between production teams and the QC Test Lab.
Approve raw materials and batches based on established specifications.
Prepare and communicate batch disposition reports.
Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving investigations.
Support Quality Management System (QMS) activities and compliance initiatives.
Pursue ongoing professional development through skill-building and on-the-job learning.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Chemistry or a related field required.
Experience with quantitative analysis using HPLC, UPLC, and GC techniques
Prior experience in Quality Control (QC) or Quality Assurance (QA) preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
Competent in data analysis, documentation, and reporting.
Ability to perform light physical work, including lifting up to 25 lbs.
