For our business development we are looking for an
Area Sales Manager (m/f/d)
for several regions in Europe to join our hybrid working model as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
Securing new projects and development contracts in close collaboration with sales and marketing, along with supporting the technical and commercial evaluation of customer inquiries
Relieving the development department by pre‑qualifying development projects and assisting in managing ongoing development initiatives
Continuously monitoring market segments, analyzing trends and innovations, and developing a flexible, scalable modular product concept for various customer needs
Leading and supporting sub‑projects, managing product lifecycle, and collaborating closely with internal departments
Planning, participating in, and representing the company at trade fairs and customer visits
Managing travel commitments: approximately 1 week per month to headquarters and a minimum of 50% travel readiness for the position
Qualifications
Electrical/Electronics Engineer (min. B.Sc./B. Eng.) or comparable qualification with at least 7 years of experience in B2B sales
Strong technical knowledge in electrical engineering and electronics, with a network in Southern Europe considered an advantage
Proficiency in ERP and CRM systems, along with excellent Excel skills
Willingness to deepen expertise in power electronics through advanced training
Strong team‑playing abilities
Excellent Italian (C2) and English (C1) language skills are mandatory; additional languages such as German or French are a plus
