As an Emergency Recovery Specialist (Field Sales Representative), you create revenue opportunities by consulting with property owners who have suffered any type of property damage event. You are on call 24/7 to respond to emergencies, establish trust, build rapport, and participate in community outreach and emergency preparedness activities.
Key Responsibilities
Establish and maintain positive relationships in the local community.
Respond to leads from referral sources immediately—24/7.
Listen to property owners’ stories to empathize and determine how you can help ease their burden.
Effectively communicate Cotton’s suite of services to affected property owners.
Be familiar with the territory to improve response times.
Perform business development outreach when not responding to emergencies.
Skills, Background and Knowledge
Five years of experience in one or more fields: restoration, military, fire department, EMS, police, customer service, construction, insurance, or sales.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Computer literacy with a working knowledge of common business software such as Microsoft Office.
Self‑motivated, organized, and flexible.
Excellent communication skills.
Enjoy working with, and helping, people.
Must be able to prioritize and manage time independently.
Thrives under high‑stress, fast‑paced situations.
