The Sales Executive will achieve new sales and growth and develop business for a local bakery in the greater Phoenix area.

Build collaborative relationships across multiple functions within the bakery and with the customer base.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business development and sales activities

Achieve revenue growth and profitability goals

Manage the sales, customer support, and service issues for customers.

Develop and maintain strong customer relationships by identifying and implementing initiatives to add value for the customers

Develop proposals and drive customer-specific custom product initiatives

Implement price increases and margin improvement as appropriate

Develop new business via identifying and developing new customers in the greater Phoenix area

Maintain and update appropriate databases and sales support systems relative to account activity, pricing, new product

Provide written and verbal updates on sales activity and competitive activity in Phoenix

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Experience in food packaging, food manufacturing, or similar industry

Understand the need to and the ability to create meaningful relationships.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to navigate through complex and difficult selling situations

Proactive work style with the energy and passion for results and the desire to make a difference

Highly motivated and energetic; a self-starter

Strong verbal and written presentation skills
