Responsibilities Work with U.S. Customs to facilitate the Company's imports Assist various departments with Harmonized Tariff Code information for products Handle customs scheduling, customs-related documentation, and monthly customs settlements Ensure proper regulatory compliance for all international transactions Collaborate with internal departments to gather, analyze, and interpret relevant financial data Receive, process, verify, and reconcile invoices Communicating with various external parties such as forwarders, overseas vendors, customers, carriers, and shipping companies to prepare and coordinate logistics Verify vendor accounts, paying vendors, and resolve purchase orders, invoices, or payment discrepancies Requirements Bachelor's degree required; preferred to be one in business, accounting, operations, or equivalent 1-3 years of experience in import, export, or logistics work experience Knowledge of U.S. import regulations, including areas such as classification, valuation, free trade agreements, special import programs (anti-dumping and countervailing cases), PGAs, and entry process Knowledge of CTPAT Security and Trade Compliance Programs Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a rapidly changing, complex environment Adept at adjusting communication styles and/or level of detail and complexity of the content based on the needs of the audience Continuous Improvement Focus: ability to articulate a problem and identify the root cause Strong attention to detail in compliance with Company policies and US Import Regulations Strong grasp of MS Office Licensed customs broker and/or certified customs specialist preferred
