Within this team, we have an opportunity for a Senior Business Operations Analyst to work in a talented, cross-functional, highly collaborative team to analyze business data, generate insights, and make data-driven recommendations to optimize operational efficiency and drive business growth. This individual must possess 4+ years of experience in business operations or data analytics and 3+ years of hands-on experience with Tableau, along with strong SQL or Tableau Prep and critical thinking skills. The ideal candidate must be able to independently manage their own projects from start to finish with minimal guidance. More than just executing on requests, this person must be able to think strategically across the organization, viewing challenges from a top-down perspective to identify and solve the root problem. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication skills, high data literacy, and intellectual curiosity. Ideally, you are an exceedingly organized, results-oriented individual who knows how to redirect around pitfalls, remain flexible and positive in an ever-changing environment. Responsibilities
Analyze complex, ambiguous business problems and identify and evaluate multiple potential solutions to recommend the optimal path forward. Lead the development and implementation of insightful reports, dashboards, and advanced data visualizations in Tableau for various stakeholders, including senior leadership. Respond to and fulfill ad-hoc data analysis requests from stakeholders using Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and other data manipulation tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand business requirements and develop long-term strategies to support business objectives. Conduct comprehensive, in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement and strategic growth. Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and scripts or use Tableau Prep to extract, manipulate, and transform data from multiple sources. Perform data cleansing, validation, and quality assurance to ensure accuracy and reliability of data. Analyze complex operational workflows, identify bottlenecks, and design and propose innovative solutions to streamline processes and enhance productivity. Collaborate with business stakeholders to define and establish key performance indicators.
