Overview Tectonic, a multi-disciplined professional engineering firm, is currently seeking a full‑time Business Development / Marketing Associate to join our Forest Hills, NY Office.

This position offers excellent opportunity for professional growth and development!

Essential Functions Preparation and coordination of proposals, statements of qualifications, and associated marketing materials for professional services. Work closely with technical staff to translate complex technical concepts into clear written and graphic content while ensuring compliance with client and agency requirements. Assist with and/or lead the development of marketing collateral, maintain and improve BD department resources, proofread, edit, quality control, and other related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

1+ years of relevant experience, with a BS Degree or equivalent in Communications, Business/Marketing, Graphic Design, English, Literature, or similar, or any other suitable combination of experience, education & training;

Experience using graphic design and layout tools to develop marketing and BD materials; with Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign) and Microsoft Office Suite Required;

Knowledge of Deltek Vision preferred;

Excellent planning, writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with strong attention to detail;

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines;

Outstanding interpersonal and collaboration skills;

Ability to multi‑task and perform effectively in a fast‑paced, deadline driven atmosphere.

Physical Requirements In order to perform the essential functions of this position, the candidate must be able to constantly assume a stationary position, and must handle and/or feel documents, materials, and/or equipment to perform necessary tasks, sometimes repetitively. The candidate must be able to occasionally maneuver within the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc., and may exert up to 15 lbs. of force occasionally. Constantly, they must be able to receive and convey detailed or important information with others via the Corporate e‑mail system, telephone system, and in person.

Pay Range Pay Range: $25.00 - $36.06 / hour
