What You Will Do You will own your territory and drive growth through proactive market development and genuine relationship building.

Your responsibilities include:

Identifying, prospecting, and converting new HVAC contractor accounts

Spending significant time in the field, visiting contractors, job sites, and resource centers

Managing the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, solution development, proposals, closing, and follow-up

Building trust with contractor decision-makers and key influencers

Strengthening relationships with existing customers and increasing their business with Tropic Supply

Developing strong product knowledge to prescribe value-driven solutions

Maintaining accurate CRM activity to prioritize high-value opportunities

Collaborating with Resource Center Leaders to ensure exceptional service and support

This role requires initiative, ownership, and a commitment to building long-term partnerships.

What You Bring

Three to five years of proven B2B sales success with measurable results

Experience selling to contractors, construction trades, or technical buyers

A strong record of new business development and territory growth

Excellent relationship-building and communication skills

Knowledge of your local market and contractor landscape

Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office

HVAC industry experience strongly preferred
