Position SummaryWe are seeking an Executive Chef to lead all kitchen operations. This role is responsible for daily production, inventory management, food cost control, staff leadership, and execution of drop-off catering and private events .
This is a hands-on leadership role for a chef who can run a kitchen independently and thrives in organized, production-driven environments.
ResponsibilitiesOversee daily high-volume meal production
Plan and execute drop-off catering orders and private events
Manage all food inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships
Maintain pars, track usage, and control food costs
Build prep lists and production schedules
Lead, train, and supervise kitchen staff
Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation
Maintain food safety, sanitation, labeling, and storage standards
Assist with menu planning and operational improvements
5+ years experience in catering, high-volume, or commissary kitchens
Experience executing private events and off-site catering
Strong knowledge of inventory management and food cost control
Proven leadership and kitchen management experience
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Comfortable cooking large batches and event-level menus
ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain)
Executive Chef, Sous Chef, or Kitchen Manager background
Experience in production or multi-client kitchens
Experience scaling recipes and managing yields
Catering or institutional food service experience
Stable, year-round operation
Mix of structured production and creative event work
No traditional late-night restaurant grind
